Eating is personal. Our food and drink choices are impacted by many factors. Do you compulsively snack when you are nervous or depressed? Is it rewarding or comforting to eat certain food at certain times of the day, with certain people or at a particular place? Some people have taste preferences which are often deeply rooted in culture, beliefs or religion. The availability or price of foods also determines what is in our pantry or refrigerator. There is the physiological aspect of what we eat: hunger and hormones. No matter what our motivation for

personal food choices, the fact of the matter is that the food we choose to eat has powerful effects on our health. We need to seriously consider how we are fueling our bodies. This may mean making totally different choices or simply tweaking our palate. Change is difficult and readjusting our habits is a challenge. But, if you knew you could take charge of your health and live with vibrant energy and pain free, would you rise to the challenge?
There has been much research done over the past years and multiple scientific papers written concerning the nutritional value of certain eating habits. The results of these studies is continually consistent, yet we remain confused about what defines healthy eating.
“Whole-food, plant-based eating has been scientifically proven to protect and restore your health. It is not a diet, in the restrictive definition of the term, but a sustainable lifestyle.”

WFPB is a nutrient-rich diet that is largely unprocessed, free of animal products, and naturally low in fat. This way of eating will transform your health and allow you to live more fully.
According to the NIH, research shows that “plant-based diets are cost-effective, low-risk interventions that may lower body mass index, blood pressure, HbA1c, and cholesterol levels. They may also reduce the number of medications needed to treat chronic diseases and lower ischemic heart disease mortality rates.”
